Donald Cue Rickman
A longtime San Diego resident, Don has been in the banking industry since 1978 upon successful completion of a broad based Management Training program.
For over three decades Don has built a significant banking pedigree as a commercial lender with an eye towards community development. In 1998 he helped start one of the first community development banks in the United States and was the first Chief Credit Officer for a San Diego-based community development financial institution. His emphasis in banking has always been focused on serving the banking needs of small to medium sized businesses.
As Vice President and Senior Loan Officer for Torrey Pines Bank Don is responsible for the acceleration of the bank’s commercial loan activity throughout the County. Don’s business development focus aligns with Torrey Pines Bank’s mission, which is to serve San Diego business, professional and non profit organizations with seasoned banking professionals who are attuned to helping them achieve their financial goals.
Currently, Don is a board member for The Mission Valley YMCA as well as a Loan Committee Member for California Small Business Development Corporation.
Don served as Past Chapter President of the San Diego Urban Bankers Association.
Don attended the University of Cincinnati and the University of San Diego.
