Yolanda Lewis
Yolanda Lewis an entrepreneur at heart founding Innovative Resources in1993, a woman and minority owned firm focused on climate mitigation strategies which she currently serves as President.
Innovative Resources, is a technical training and certification firm, and has established one of the first Help Desk Certification Programs in the country. The program placed more than 100 women and minorities in high technology positions from underserved communities. Innovative Resources has transitioned to focus on delivering climate mitigation technologies that improve safety and increase corporate profits.
A graduate of San Jose State University, BS and a graduate of UCLA Anderson School of Management Business, Yolanda has had the unique opportunity to grow, learn, live and experience, the continuum of innovation and the “out of the box” creative phenomenon that the Silicon Valley is world renowned for.
Leveraging 20 years of experience in the federal contracting arena and experience as a technology consultant for several Fortune 500 companies in the Silicon Valley, she implements leading cutting edge solutions to support economic development.
Since 2007, Yolanda has served as the Executive Director of the Northern California Chapter Elite Service Disabled Veteran Network focused on helping SDVOB small businesses.
Since 2009, she has served as the President and CEO of the Black Economic Council (formerly Chief Deputy) focused on economic stabilization of Black and underserved communities.
Since 2013 she has served as the President and CEO BEE Coalition (Black Equal Equity) which is focused on promoting social, economic, educational, and environmental and policy equity for victims of US sanctioned enslavement.
Yolanda Lewis is an absolute dynamo, and a fearless advocate for small diverse underutilized businesses.
As the Chair of the Agency Alliance Committee NAMC San Diego & Imperial Counties Chapter, Yolanda brings a wealth of knowledge and the ability to assist with facilitating goals and objectives.
