Felicienne Ramey

Felicienne H. Ramey is Professor and Dean Emerita, College of Business Administration (CBA), California State University, Sacramento (CSUS).  She has served in the CBA as Dean, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, as Chair, Department of Organizational Behavior and Environment, and as Special Assistant to the President of California State University, Sacramento.

During the 1992-93 academic year she served as an American Council on Education Fellow (ACE) at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), later serving as Assistant Chancellor at UCSC.

She has published in the areas of consumer bankruptcy, minority affairs, business law, affirmative action, biological sciences, women in management, and International Issues in business.

Her latest research publications have been on women as administrators in higher education, with a particular emphasis on African American women.  She has received many awards including the Sacramento Business Journal’s, Women Who Mean Business Award, Distinguished Faculty Award and Order of the Hornet Award, from California State University, Sacramento Alumni Association, and Educator of the Year Award.

She serves on boards of directors in the Health Care area, the art area, the business area, and an architectural review board. She has curated/co-curated nine Art exhibits, one on her photographs of Senior African Americans.

Her interests are in the arts, playing golf, walking, reading, music, and her grandchildren Nigel, Benjamin and Milan.
