Ronnie Musgrove
Ronnie Musgrove became a resident of California in 1974. After graduating high school, he received a full academic scholarship for both California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and San Diego State University. He chose and attended San Diego State University majoring in Architectural Engineering for 3 ½ years. He transferred to ABC Technical School and upon graduation, became certified in Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
In 1980, he gained years of experience as a Civil Engineer Apprentice first at Holder and Associates in Jasper County, Mississippi building and designing streets and bridges, balancing soil and creating subsequent drainage through the method of surveying from land rolls. He plotted and created all new maps used for the Recorders Office for both Jasper and Smith Counties in Mississippi, while training new employees in the Survey Department.
In 1984, he transferred to Howard Industries, assisting in the creating and designing of a major electrical transformer for utility companies in the production department for the company. He also implemented a more efficient system for production of such transformers, receiving accolades and recognition from Senior Management.
In 1985, he relocated to the San Diego area, and with his experience in civil engineering, landscaping and agriculture he founded a drafting and landscape business that incorporated in 1990 and became California Scenic Landscape Company. One of his early successes in Civil Engineering included numerous MTS trolley stations of the current San Diego Metropolitan Transit System. He has been very instrumental in mentoring many companies that have become successful businesses in San Diego County. He currently serves as the President of California Scenic Landscape Co.
